How Do I Get Involved?

“You can do more than pray, after you have prayed. But you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed.” John Bunyan

Needless to say this is ‘Priority One’.

If after prayer you believe you are to part of this missionary outreach then consider where you might fit.

Prayer for the outreach

We desperately need to be kept in prayer to be successful. There is much spiritual opposition and the prayers of the Saints are so important. Paul begged the believers to remain in prayer.

“Now I beg you, brethren, through the Lord Jesus Christ, and through the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in prayers to God for me,”     Romans 15:30 (NKJV)

Communications

Letter writing, Facebook, e-mails and phone calls. You have no idea what it means to get a letter from home or to hear a friendly voice.  Paul would have loved e-mail.

“But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your state.”             Philippians 2:19 (NKJV)

Financial and Practical Support

We are supported by faithful believers. Our home church participates in support, but the majority comes for believers who desire to be a part of this missionary outreach through their gifting.

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity. 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.                 Philippians 4:10-12 (NKJV)

Come and give your time Put together a short missions trip. Help with logistical issues like cars and housing when we come to the states. There are are many opportunities to get involved. Check out Donations and Volunteer page.
