Nov update… Christina… Please Pray

Late this last week we had a very sad incident take place.

We have a young single woman in our fellowship who is very on fire for the Lord.  She ministers not just with our youth but has been active all over the city in outreach and street ministry, especially this last year.

She is however the only believer in her family.  She has been ministering to them pretty much non-stop for the last several years and it has fallen on deaf ears so far.  Only her Mum has shown a small interest and recently came to a woman’s meeting a few weeks ago.

On Thursday last, we were called because her older brother had passed away.

He had, had a recent surgery and was on pain medication for that and seemed to have mixed it with something else.  Just a few days before Christina had seen him driving erratically and had felt impelled to share the Gospel with him again.

We have no way of knowing if he responded to it or not but nothing outwardly.  Our prayer is that this tragedy will cause this family to really consider eternal matters and realize their need for Jesus.

The service will be some time this week and we are praying that there will be a clear Gospel message preached.  Pray too for comfort and peace for Christina and her family.
